This post got away from me last week. I mentioned last week was pretty tough. My dad was in the hospital, we've been doing double race weekends, and I had stamp club. I cut for four hours(!) for one project (*hanging head in shame* This is an example of not being a smart demo. I should have been smarter with designing, but I really, really wanted to do that project.) Anywho, this post went out before I had even made the project. I've been wanting to do it, but haven't had a moment to sit down and bang it out. So I apologize for electronics having a mind of its own and prematurely posting for me.

So what does the fox say? My daughter keeps asking me to play this video for her when I am working on the computer (she loves YouTube!). In fact, she came home with a pocket book from school last week. Here's the first few pages -

And an update - a CNN news story says they are now coming out with a children's book based on this video. I told my daughter, and she responded unimpressed with, "I already wrote that book." :/

With the current MDS Monday sketch, I thought it would be fun to make a silly card. Don't know if anyone has done this yet...

The punch art design comes from Avery Murphy. I used the background I created in MDS for the original card and swapped out the images for Lovely as a Tree. I was a little rusty with the print and cut feature on my e-cutter (for the speech bubble), so it was a good refresher.
