HYCCT Sparkly Pink Pumpkins

Finally... I'm finally getting a moment to sit down and play with Hope You Can Cling To challenges on Splitcoaststampers.  These are challenges in honor of those struggling with breast cancer, and the cards are donated to the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

While driving through Troy, NY one Saturday morning, on the way to a cyclocross race, we passed a house that had a couple glittery pink pumpkins on the front porch.  And spurred on by my friend Rosemary's email signature in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I thought, "What a great idea for a card!"

I'm playing along with my buddy Bev's challenge "Shine It Out!", to use lots of sparkle.  I hand-cut the stems and added some lines with a marker to simulate dimension.

Stamps: Affection Collection; Paper: Regal Rose, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, White, Patio Party DSP; Ink: Regal Rose, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Old Olive marker; Accessories: Iridescent Ice EP, Staple, Oval punches, 2-1/2" Circle punch, Perfect Pennants die, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!

What a cute idea! I may have to CASE this - never would have thought to make sparkly pink pumpkins. I love it!
