Hi Everyone!
Time for another Stampin' Up Only challenge. Today challenge is to create a birthday card or project.
While on vacation, I saw these really cool cupcake boxes.
And So Shelli's challenge this month is cupcakes. Well, I got to thinking about combining them. Inspired by the Petal Cone die and a magazine cover I had seen, I started working it out.
Since I used the "sweet" sentiment on the cupcake, I had to tie in birthday specifically by creating a little matching notecard with the "sweet celebration" sentiment.
Some side views of the box. The box has an upper and lower lid, which opens up once untied, and is perfect for holding a little gift.
And close-up of the notecard -
Stamps: So Very, Sweet Scoops; Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla, Botanical Gazette DSP, Love Impressions DSP; Ink: Early Espresso, Real Red marker, Chocolate Chip marker; Accessories: Brights Collection button, Mat pack, Linen thread, Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon, Holiday Collection kit, Simon Upper chipboard, Crystal Effects, Scallop Edge punch, 1-3/4" Circle punch, Build-a-Cupcake punch, Small Oval punch, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Crimper, Petal Cone die, Basket & Blooms die, Big Shot, Pink felt, Dimensionals.
ETA: An outline tutorial for this cupcake box can be found on this blog post.
I had a lot of fun making this one, and I plan on sending it off to someone special. Thanks for stopping by!
