Another chance to play with new goodies from the upcoming catalog. This one uses the Hostess Level 1 set Because I Care. I love hydrangeas! I'm so excited they came out with a set with a hydrangea image! And I am loving this new In Color Concord Crush.
I stamped the flower twice in Stazon and watercolored and popped up the top layer (thank you Ilina Crouse for the idea!). I patterned the Concord Crush layer by inking the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder with Whisper White craft ink, on the raised side, before running it through the Big Shot.
Stamps: Because I Care; Paper: Concord Crush, Old Olive, Whisper White, Old Olive DSP; Ink: Whisper White, Concord Crush, Old Olive, Stazon; Accessories: Aquapainter, Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, Button, Linen thread, Topnote die, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Big Shot, Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by!

I absolutely LOVE this! Did your embossing folder clean well?
OOH- Very pretty! Love the raised detail of the flower and the ink of the side panel really makes the texture pop. TFS!
Very pretty! The raised images really give a nice touch.
I am in love with Hydrangeas, and I love what you have done with this set. I have never tried white on a folder before, it looks great. I will have to try that soon.
Love the look of this Hydrangea - nice color combo and great work on the coloring!!!
