This past weekend we had my daughter's birthday party. My baby is three! She is just getting into birthday parties and birthday cakes, so we thought we would have a "kid party" for her. What fun to make decorations and favors for her, huh?
The colors in the Stampin' Up! Princess Party Kit weren't really speaking to me, so I asked her if she wanted a pirate party instead. Sure - pirates and Tinkerbell!
Here are her party invitations -
I hope they aren't too scary for the other kids, but she thinks "skelits", as she calls them, are funny.
Stamps: Pirate Time, Beware Pirates; Paper: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black, Rockabilly DSP; Ink: Basic Black, Going Gray, Chocolate Chip, Versamark; Accessories: Black embossing powder, Black grosgrain ribbon, Real Red grosgrain ribbon, Pirate Party Kit.
A party banner from the Pirate Party Kit.
And pirate eye patches.
Here she is dressed up like Tinkerbell. We had to follow the treasure map...
and use the eye patches and toy telescopes...
to find the bounty.
A close-up of the treasure map and treasure chest (from the Pirates Party Kit). The treasure chests were filled in gold coins, of course!
I'll share more party crafting tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!
