The Stamp Review Crew: Nailed It

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  Today we are taking a look at a retiring, and very popular, set from the Occasions catalog, Nailed It. This set coordinates with the Build It Framelits, which unfortunately have sold out. But as a reminder, unlike accessories, retiring stamp sets are guaranteed to be available through May 22 (in the North American market).  If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from the fabulous Holly Krautkremer's blog.

We just got back from a vacation to Hawaii.  Yes, it is beautiful.  Be jealous.  We didn't fry, and we didn't die.  But between jet lag and the red-eye, re-entry into normal life has been painful!

I am quite backed up on my stamping, including this "thank you" card for online orders this month.  Since the Nailed It framelits (and therefore bundle) are sold out, I tried to focus on a project that can be created with only the stamp set.

**Tip: Attach a large loose bow of linen thread to the back of the circle die-cut for easy loops.

Stamps: Nailed It, Lift Me Up; Paper: Delightful Dijon, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Urban Underground DSP; Ink: Delightful Dijon, Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Versamark; Accessories: Linen Thread, White Embossing Powder, Aquapainter, Build It Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

And a little tool box can be a fun addition to a Father's Day or masculine tool card.

This tool box is similar to one created by Rose Packer.  Start with 3-5/8 x 4-1/2" piece of Smoky Slate CS, and score along the longer side at 1-1/4".  Two pieces of Real Red CS are 3-1/2 x 1-1/8" and 3-1/2 x 3-1/8".  The peg board background was created with an e-cutter.

Not only is Nailed It retiring, but so is the Kraft card stock.  So stock up on your card stock!

Stamps: Nailed It; Paper: Real Red, Smoky Slate, Kraft; Ink: Delightful Dijon, Smoky Slate, Basic Black; Accessories: Silver Brads, Mini Silver Brads, Stacked with Love Washi Tape, Fine Tip Glue Pen, Aquapainter, Build It Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Big Shot.

Hop on over to Juana Ambida's blog to see what fun projects she has put together with this week's set.
