Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop! We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday. This week we are creating with what I would consider primarily a supporting actress stamp set, Petite Petals, which also has a coordinating punch. You are probably arriving from Holly Krautkremer's blog. She has such great style!
I made a card with Petite Petals recently with this blog hop in mind. I really wanted to hold onto it, although it nicely illustrated color combinations with the new In Colors, so off it went into cyberspace.
As a side note, the images from Bohemian Borders are really fun!
Stamps: Flower Shop, Petite Petals, Bohemian Borders, Flower Patch, Sprinkles of Life; Paper: Delightful Dijon, Old Olive, Tip Top Taupe, Bohemian DSP, Watercolor paper; Ink: Delightful Dijon, Old Olive, Tip Top Taupe; Accessories: Pansy punch, Petite Petals punch, Aquapainter, Flower Fair framelits, Big Shot.
For a fun, bright card, I combined Petite Petals and Flower Patch, using yummy In Colors Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder.
I added Crystal Effects to the flower centers for a little extra something.
Stamps: Petite Petals, Flower Patch; Paper: Daffodil Delight, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Whisper White, Cherry on Top DSP; Ink: Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush; Accessories: Crystal Effects, Tree Builder punch, Petite Petals punch, Bohemian EF, Greetings thinlits, Flower Fair die, Big Shot.
Be sure you check out the next stop to see what Linda Callahan put together with this set. Her projects are always amazing!
