Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop! We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday. This week's focus is a fabulous background set. Paired with a separate featured set, Timeless Textures is a real workhorse and great supporting actor. I'm so anxious to see what everyone creates, so let's get to it!
If you are following the blog hop order, you have just come from my friend Mickey Roberts's blog. I just love her style!
I was in need of a 50th anniversary card, and the style of the set Number of Years blends perfectly with the vintage look of Timeless Textures. Using Retro Sketches #231, here's the resulting card.
This set is perfect for layering and collage layouts. The images work so well together, with just a change in color or tone, such as stamping off.
Here I stamped the grid background in Versamark and the dots and flourishes in Crumb Cake inks. The numbers were heat embossed in gold.
Now make sure you check out the next stop to see what fun projects our fearless leader Tanya Boser has put together with this week's stamp set.

Awesome anniversary card, Heidi! I love the textures you created with all the layers. This will be a special card for the anniversary couple to receive.
Timeless and elegant-- perfect for a 50th anniversary!
This is stunning Heidi - all the little details! Love it! Kelly x
Crumb Cake seems to be the color of the day! Great card in its simplicity! I love how your focus is drawn to the 50!
Congrats to whomever is celebrating that amazing landmark!!
And you are so right about this set coordinating well with those numbers, Heidi. I especially love the way you added the little banner in black, with the dovetailed ends curling up just a bit :) Very charming!
50 years ❤️ How sweet! I love the neutral colors and the use of the different background stamps! What a great card, Heidi! And the black strip banner curled up - love it!
