The Stamp Review Crew: White Christmas

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  Today our focus is White Christmas.  Will our members have Christmas ideas, or will they accept the challenge to illustrate this as a year-round set?  If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from our fearless leader, Tanya Boser's, blog.

After this crazy week, I have a quick project for you.  I combined White Christmas with Sheltering Tree to create a springtime birch tree.

I used markers to ink up small areas of the tree foliage from Sheltering Tree. After stamping, I cleaned the stamp, rotated, and inked again.  I repeated this several times.  To fill the background area subtly, I sponged Cucumber Crush ink through the Stripes mask.

I used Fab Friday sketch #83 for this card.

Stamps: White Christmas, Sheltering Tree, Hello Sunshine February Paper Pumpkin kit; Paper: Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Cherry on Top DSP; Ink: Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush, Wild Wasabi markers, Cucumber Crush, Early Espresso; Accessories: Washi Label punch, Dots & Stripes masks, Sponge, Dimensionals.

Hop on over to Valerie Moody's blog to see what she put together with this set. Her projects are always so beautiful!

Love your spring tree! And the masked and sponged background, and all the little layers. It all adds up to a stunning card :)

WOW! Love this! The sheltering foliage is perfect for on the tree. I love that you only inked a small area of the foliage. Looks so good! Such a bright and fun card. Rochelle xo

Lovely and simple, but a great illustration of this set's versatility Heidi. This would be a great M&T at a workshop too! TFS
