The Stamp Review Crew: Flower Patch

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  Today we are hopping along with a new, fun photopolymer set, Flower Patch, which also has coordinating Flower Fair framelits.  Purchase both as a bundle and save 15%.  If you are hopping around in a circle, you have just come from Nancy's blog.  Doesn't she have a fun style?

Our group had a display board at Stampin' Up!'s Convention a couple weeks ago.  We focused on two sets, Lovely as a Tree, which was shared at the last blog hop, and Flower Patch.  I didn't participate with the out-of-town wedding we attended in June, but I do have a couple things I can share.

You may have seen this project on my blog, but does it look familiar from somewhere else?

It is from a decorated Kraft Grid Journal in the 2014-15 Annual Catalog (pg. 155), transformed into a card.  Don't forget the catalog, along with being a shopping guide, is a great source of inspiration!

Stamps: Flower Patch; Paper: Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Crumb Cake, Whisper White; Ink: Coastal Cabana, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Early Espresso; Accessories: Linen thread, Faceted Vintage button, Flower Fair framelits, Big Shot.

A while back, in the midst of designing stamp club projects, I was playing with the color combination from Sunday Stamps #77.  I came up with this clean & simple note card.

Although this card didn't make the club cut, I kept it on my desk for future use.  I really like the colors and the clean nature of it.  Easy to make a stack of these to give away as a gift.  To make the criss-cross card box, I followed these directions.

Stamps: Flower Patch; Paper: Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Moonlight DSP; Ink: Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, Sahara Sand; Accessories: White baker's twine, Island Indigo chevron ribbon, Vintage Faceted button, Flower Fair framelits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

Now make sure you check out the next stop to see what fabulous projects Dawn has put together with Flower Patch
