The Stamp Review Crew: Christmas Pines

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  This week we take a look at a really elegant Christmas set, Christmas Pines, which can be purchased as a bundle along with coordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits.  If you are following the blog hop order, you have just come from our fearless leader and newly-minted artisan designer Tanya Boser's blog.  She is awesome!

Combining the Jar of Love set with Christmas Pines, I created a fun little decor image.

For the fir branch die-cuts, I colored some watercolor paper with Garden Green ink for a non-uniform color effect.

You gotta love Stampin' Up's coordinating products.  Lots of fun texture, including the pine cone die-cuts and Pine Bough embossing folder.

Stamps: Christmas Pines, Jar of Love; Paper: Delightful Dijon, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Watercolor Paper, Warmth & Cheer DSP; Ink: Delightful Dijon, Garden Green, Early Espresso; Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Pine Bough Embossing Folder, Pretty Pines Thinlits, Everyday Jars Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

In case you missed it, here is another recent card with Christmas Pines.

Stamps: Christmas Pines; Paper: Emerald Envy, Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White, Watercolor Paper, Presents & Pinecones DSP; Ink: Mint Macaron, Emerald Envy, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso; Accessories: Pretty Pines Thinlits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

Up next is the equally talented Rochelle Blok.  Let's check out what fun projects she has put together with this week's stamp set.

Both of these cards are AMAZING! I'm a sucker for anything in a bell jar, so I particularly love those pine cones.
