Oh So Succulent Display Samples #2

Day #5: Another round of display sample sharing using Oh So Succulent...  Hope you've been enjoying seeing some of these (and do leave me a comment, if so!).

{angled CAS}

For this card, I stamped the outlines with the masking technique, and sat down to some some fun and relaxing watercolor while watching debate coverage (is that an oxymoron?).  Don't miss the little bit of Copper Metallic Thread for interest, as well as the Copper Foil matting later.

Stamps: Oh So Succulent; Paper: Delightful Dijon, Whisper White, Petals & Paisleys DSP, Copper Foil Sheets; Ink: Mint Macaron, Smoky Slate, Basic Black; Accessories: Copper Metallic Thread, Aquapainter.

{pot from the top}

Have you noticed some of these flowers look like a top-down view?  I was struggling with how to depict them in a pot, so why not top-down as well?  I stamped the dirt with some images from the set as well to make it look like the white aerating stuff (sorry, not a green thumb here!).  I popped up the pot with Dimensionals so I could tie a bow around it.  The sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches #257.

Stamps: Oh So Succulent; Paper: Cajun Craze, Basic Gray, Very Vanilla; Ink: Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze, Basic Black, Whisper White Craft; Accessories: Linen Thread, Sponges, Petal Burst EF, Layering Circles Framelits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.
