The Stamp Review Crew: Vintage Leaves

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  This week we are covering a beautiful new fall set, Vintage Leaves, which can be bundled with the matching framelits at a 15% discount.

If you are following the blog hop order, you have just come from Deb Currier's blog.  She always has such elegant projects!

I'm a sucker for leaf images, and with matching framelits, how can you go wrong?  Following Fab Friday sketch #70 and the color combination for the new patterned paper Into the Woods, my little helper and I pulled together a straight-forward card for stamp club.

The leaves are stamped with the new archival ink (permanent), die-cut, and then sponged with a variety of colors.  Have you ever glued a card down and then wanted to move some items around to make the layout a little more balanced and pleasing?  Happens to me all the time, and drives me crazy!  Rather than stressing about it, I'll just confess. Trials and tribulations of a stamper.

Stamps: Vintage Leaves; Paper: Whisper White, Into the Woods DSP; Ink: Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Tangelo Twist, Tangerine Tango, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Basic Black Archival; Accessories: Rich Razzleberry cotton ribbon, White baker's twine, Basic metal button, Mini stapler, Sponges, Brick Wall EF, Leaflets framelits, Big Shot.

Now make sure you check out the next stop to see what lovelies Lisa Young has put together for us with this week's stamp set.

I love the asymmetrical look of this card. And the DSP as an accent is perfect! Beautifully done!

Gorgeous! The vibrant leaves look amazing against the white background. Love the way you tucked a bit of paper behind the textured layer.
