FM214 Monochromatic Stencils

It's my turn to host this week's Friday Mashup.  I picked stencils, because I love to get messy with paints and paste, and wouldn't you know that I'm having a bugger of a time creating for my own challenge.  It's always the way...

Cindy Beach over at Fab Friday really inspired me to take out Yee-Haw.  The best monthly photopolymer release we've had, in my opinion.  So fun!

I got a chance to try out my new stencil paste, Glass Glitter Bead Gel by Faber-Castell.  Love it!

This would be a good card for my horsey-lovin' sister, but unfortunately inspiration struck one week too late.  I'll keep it for next year.

This week's Mashup challenge is:

  • Create a project with "stencils"
  • Create a project with "a monochromatic theme"
  • or Mash it Up! and Create a project with " stencils and a monochromatic theme"
Stamps: Yee-Haw; Paper: Tip Top Taupe, Crumb Cake, Whisper White; Ink: Chocolate Chip, Tip Top Taupe, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip marker, Crumb Cake Blendabilities; Accessories: 2013-15 In Color Sequins, Clear EP, Sponge, Stars Decorative Mask, Glass Bead Glitter Gel.

Oooooo! I might have to look into that embossing paste because it creates such a cool shimmery effect. This is such an adorable creation and PERFECT for a man.
