The Stamp Review Crew: Wonderous Wreath

Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop!  We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday.  This time we are hopping along with the super fun triple-stamp set from the Holiday catalog, Wonderous Wreath, which can be bundled with coordinating framelits.  This set comes with little "orientation tabs" to help you line up the stamps and the framelits - super cool!

If you are hopping around in a circle, you have just come from Dawn Tidd's blog.  Dawn has such a clean and fresh style!

I wanted to make a spring wreath, so I looked around the interwebz for some inspiration.

Here's what I came up with.

I started with a standard stamped wreath base and added very thin strips of Crumb Cake card stock for the wreath "branches".  From there, I added some cut-out leaves for more layering.

I went without a sentiment on this one, as I do occasionally.  Ok, ok, I do it quite often.  You got me.

Stamps: Wonderous Wreath; Paper: Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold; Ink: Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Sahara Sand; Accessories: Pearl jewels, Crystal Effects, Itty Bitty Accents punch pack, Circle punch, Sponge, Wonderful Wreath framelits, Big Shot.

I thought I would also share a couple other recent projects I made with this set.  This is my January wintery

Living in New York, this is pretty much how my front door looks today.

Stamps: Wonderous Wreath; Paper: Smoky Slate, Very Vanilla, Whisper White; Ink: Lost Lagoon, Island Indigo, Smoky Slate; Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Rhinestone jewels, Frosted Sequins, Crystal Effects, Sponge, Wonderful Wreath framelits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

And you may remember this Valentine wreath from a couple blog hops ago.

Stamps: Wonderous Wreath, You Plus Me, Hardwood BG; Paper: Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla; Ink: Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Baked Brown Sugar; Accessories: Confetti Heart border punch, Crystal Effects, Wonderful Wreath framelits, Big Shot, Thread.

I bet you can come up with a wreath for just about every holiday and season.  It is definitely not just for Christmas!  I can't wait to check out the whole blog hop myself, since I'm not sure what to do with the wreath other than slap it on a door.  Hmmmm.

Make sure you check out the next stop to see what projects the super creative Martha Inchley has put together with Wonderous Wreath

Love the three dimensional look of your card and the details. A lot of fussy cutting but it makes a difference!

This is gorgeous! Just the wreath by itself is amazing, but adding it to a door makes it really pop!

This is beautiful! There may be others out there with "vines", but yours is the first I've seen and I love it! You've done your inspiration photo proud.
