FM179 Inky Spooky Tree

This week, Avery brings us a fun technique challenge for the Friday Mashup, Ink Blowing.

I played along with Mix-Ability Challenge #76, Finger Painting, as well.  After creating a background on watercolor paper, I tried my best to make a tree with ink blowing.  I mixed reinkers with white acrylic paint and dabbed some flower blobs onto my tree.  :)

Here's your Mashup Challenge:

  • Create a project with "Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry & Basic Black".
  • Create a project with the "Ink Blowing Technique".  Link to technique here.
  • or Mash it Up! and create a "Project using the colors above & the Ink Blowing Technique".
Stamps: For All Things; Paper: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Watercolor Paper; Ink: Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Memento Tuxedo Black; Accessories: White acrylic paint, Watercolor brush, Straw, Dimensionals.

Your card is fantastic! I knew it was a tree before I even came to your blog! I love the background you created behind the tree!!!
