FM172 Hot Pink Phone

This week, Lynda is bringing us the Friday Mashup challenge, a color combo and wood element(s).

This is a birthday card for my sister, who is more than a little addicted to her phone.  It is based on a card by Allison Okamitsu.  This card also satisfies a DTGD challenge from Sunday on Splitcoaststampers.

Here's your Mashup Challenge:

  • Create a project with " Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black & Whisper White".
  • Create a project with a "Wood Element".
  • or Mash it Up! and create a " Project using the colors above & a Wood element".
Stamps: Just Sayin'; Paper: Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Whisper White Craft; Accessories: Rhinestone jewel, Essentials wood elements, Slot punch, 3/4" Circle punch, Word Bubbles framelits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

I love it! What a perfect little card! And I am going to do a form of it with my Stamp Camp :) Thank you for the great idea. One question: what did you use for the little doohicky thingy at the top? I *almost* recognize it...like maybe a by product of another punch??

Sherri, it is the retired slot punch.

So cute! I did a version of this, but it wasn't that cute pink!

OK, this is just way too cute! I love what you've done to make it look like a phone. The word bubbles are genius.
