LOVEFEST2014A Puppy Love

You may have heard we got dumped on here in the Northeast.  Officially, 21 inches in my little town.  Hubby had been cleaning snow, walkways, pathways for animals, and roofs for hours.  Valentine's Day?  What's that?

For Love Fest 2014, this is the inspiration for this card.

My background was CASE'd from a card made by the fabulous Lydia.

Stamps: D is for Dog, Branch Out; Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White; Ink: Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Coastal Cabana, Soft Sky, Summer Starfruit, Baked Brown Sugar, Black Stazon, Cherry Cobbler marker, Baked Brown Sugar marker; Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds, White gel pen, Owl builder punch, Sponges, Drywall tape.

Beautiful card, Heidi! Although I don't see how you were able to create a card as a reminder of this storm!

We got 24"+ in my area and I spent most of the day shoveling, raking and shoveling some more. Our snowblower quit yesterday (after working just fine last week with the 12" we got then). Thankfully, our neighbors have been so generous and allowed us to borrow theirs a few times so we could do our driveway. I will admit I made the executive decision to call the roofer to shovel snow off the roof after I had enough with the raking since it was just too much for me as my husband was working all day and didn't have the time he wanted to devote to clean-up. Calling the roofer to shovel was the best Valentine's Day present I could ask for. :)

Love the inspiration, Heidi! And your frosty snow looks great!!! My son came over today and removed the 4+ feet of snow from the roof. Crazy!

Oh, woof!!! I wish we had that snow though, we're in a drought. I love your sweet card. I have that set and it always makes me smile.
