FM148 Let's Get into Shape!

Hi Everyone!  Time for another Friday Mashup, and today Lynda is challenging us to use our geometric shapes.  Specifically triangles and hexagons.

Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project with "Hexagons".
  2. Create a project with "Triangles".
  3. or Create a project using "Hexagons" & "Triangles".
I'll call this a scrap card, because I ended up putting it together with a bunch of left-over scraps on my desk.

To satisfy the hexagon/triangle requirement, I punched out triangle shapes from the Kaleidoscope paper, glued them to a scrap piece of paper, and then punched again with the hexagon punch.  That's taking mashing literally!  To echo the long and tall layout of the hexagons, I used a long and tall card base.

Stamps: Geometrical; Paper: Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White, Kaleidoscope DSP; Ink: Crushed Curry, Strawberry Slush; Accessories: Basic Metal button, Bermuda Bay taffeta ribbon, Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, Triangle punch, Hexagon punch, Arrows EF, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!

This is so much fun - love this paper and I love how much of it is showcased on your card. The little border under the flag is a great touch!

Heidi, love the white background- it is a perfect backdrop for the colorful DSP- what a great mashing up of the challenge, too. Just so fun and trendy!
