Hello Friend

Well, nothing says "I have so much to do" like playing with sketches and making cards that satisfy NO design team or swap deadlines.  Somehow I have to go through this every time though, to get a feel for a new stamp set, and also just let the creative juices flow a bit.  Everything works better if I just let it out.

Since I didn't really have any plans for this card, I just slapped it into my Creative Journal rather than finishing it.  It's a work in progress.  Maybe I'll add a bit of accessories to it and make it a swap.  I don't know.

The sketch comes from Hand Stamped Sentiments #175

Stamps:Peachy Keen, Filmstrip; Paper: Coastal Cabana, Tangerine Tango, So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Retro Fresh DSP, I Am Me DSP; Ink: Tangerine Tango, Baked Brown Sugar; Accessories: Arrows EF, On Film framelits, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

Have to go feed the cats before they chew my leg off.  A couple months, and they still haven't adjusted to daylight savings time.  Thanks for stopping by!

I love all the wonderful goodies you've layered on your card, it's very fun and scrappy looking. I agree, too, that playing for the sake of creating with no agenda is so indulgent. I have to clear out my craft room of Christmas supplies so I can do just that! Thanks for playing at HSS! Erika
