FM135 Get Your Game On & DSD Afternoon Daydream Kit

Thanksgiving and hunting season is upon us.  I know Thanksgiving has just past in Canada, but you'll bear with me.  ;)  Fall is such a great time to enjoy the outdoors, go for a walk, and perhaps see some woodsy animals.  I'm not a hunter, but I always love a fall card with outdoor animal images on it.  My Friday Mashup challenge to you is to use an animal image on your project, such as moose, deer, turkey, etc., paired with woodgrain paper, embossing, or stamp image.

I went with a simple sketched image, so the woodgrain and feather outdoor elements would really shine.  I wanted the focus to be on fall, so I had to dig for a sentiment.  Now if I could only stamp straight...  This card uses clean&simple sketch #264.

Here's your Mashup Challenge:

  1. Create a project with a "Game type image.. Deer, Moose, Turkey, etc. "
  2. Create a project using a "Woodgrain look. "
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a "project with Woodgrain and a Game animal image. "
Stamps: Wetlands, Woodgrain BG, Endless Wishes, Season by Season; Paper: Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Early Espresso Core'dinations, Whisper White; Ink: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Black Stazon; Accessories:  Burlap ribbon, Scallop Edge border punch, Sponge, Sanding block, Woodgrain EF, Big Shot, Dimensionals, MDS download Feathered Woodcuts, e-cutter.

This is beautiful, Heidi. I love that pop of red. The woodgrain stamp and embossing folder look great together.
