FM118 Pool Feathers

Holly has a great color combo for us on the Friday Mashup this week!  My post is a little early due to the Stampin' Addicts blog hop tomorrow - hope you don't mind!

Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project using the colors "Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral & (Smoky Slate or Soft Suede ".
  2. Create a project with a "Nature Theme".
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a "Nature Themed project using the Challenge Colors".
Try as I may, I couldn't get past the inspiration photo.  It is too fabulous and filled my brain.  :)  I CASED a card Carrie Cudney made at Leadership Conference this year with the challenge colors.

The feathers are created by punching creped filter paper with Blossom Petals builder punch and dyeing with Pool Party ink.  I let it dry a bit, folded them in half to snip the edges.  For a stem, white baker's twine is glued to the backside with Tombo multipurpose liquid glue.

Stamps: Rain or Shine; Paper: Crisp Cantaloupe, Smoky Slate, Naturals White, Epic Day DSP, Creped filter paper;  Ink: Pool Party, Smoky Slate; Accessories: Pool Party ribbon, White baker's twine, Linen thread, Blossom Petals builder punch, Woodgrain EF, Big Shot, Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!
