FM82 Bleachy Witches

♪Woo hoo bleachy witches, see how high she flies
Woo hoo bleachy witches, she got the moon in her eye...♪

This week on the Friday Mashup challenge, Lili wants us to create a project with witches and some bleaching.

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
  1. Make a project with a "Witch".
  2. Or Make a project using "Bleach".
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a project with a "Witch using a Bleach Technique".

This is an ATC swap I made for the recent NY/NJ Shoebox Swap in Middletown, NY.   I ended up reworking this one several times, as I had to keep refiguring the layers to get them right.

First I brayered the background, stamped the images, and cut the front panel at the top of the witch's brew kettle.  The moon was created with bleach stamping.

Pull the tab and a frog pops up out of the kettle.  He was created by using the slider card tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.  I mounted him on a strip of acetate to make him look like he was floating.  I shot my first, very rough, video showing you how it looks in action.

And a fun photo - I was out in Massachusetts mid-week for a cyclocross clinic, and I brought my supplies with me to work on this swap.  This is what I call "stamp camping".

Stamps: Toxic Treats, The Great Outdoors, Home is Where the Haunt Is; Paper: Certainly Celery, Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Basic Gray, Whisper White; Ink: Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Basic Gray, Basic Black craft, Basic Black marker; Accessories: Brayer, Bleach, Square punch, Plastic bag, Acetate, Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!
