FM79 Colored Rectangles

It is Erica's turn at hosting the Friday Mashup challenge, and this week she has us thinking about rectangles.

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
  1. Make a project with the colors "Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Gumball Green, and Lucky Limeade".
  2. Or Make a project using "Rectangles".
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a project with the "Color Combination and Rectangles".

I just love these colors together!  I decided to go with some geometric clear block stamping, and boy did this card come together easily.

I applied two colors to a block directly from my ink pad, and then I lightly spritzed the block with water to get the colors to blend a bit.  Since the block is a little wetter than usual, it makes interesting ink patterns when you remove the block from the card stock.

Stamps: Kind & Caring Thoughts; Paper: Pacific Point, Whisper White; Ink: Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Gumball Green, Lucky Limeade, Basic Black; Accessories: Clear blocks, Water spritzer, Essentials paper piercing pack, Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!

Such a clever idea! Love how you've used the two tones of colour on the blocks - such a great bacground for your silhouette stamp.

This is so absolutely gorgeous! I really like how you variegated the color on the color blocks in the background and the piercing nicely highlights the greeting!
