So here is the "Mashup" Challenge :
- Make a project featuring "Heat Embossing".
- Or Make a "Thank You (Grateful)" project.
- Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Thank You Project using Heat Embossing".
Of course I'm gonna mash it up! I used the sketch from Creating Pretty Cards #5.
Oops, I somehow translated a thankful card into just leaves/fall/autumn/Thanksgiving. After I was done, I went back and saw it should actually say thankful. Doh... had to go back and stick that on there.
I embossed the leaf outline with Versamark + Soft Suede ink + clear embossing powder. I went back and sponged with all sorts of colors afterwards. The middle leaf edges and pennant ends are curled up for some dimension.
Stamps: French Foliage, Thankful For; Paper: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla; Ink: More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Versamark; Accessories: Clear embossing powder, Sponges, More Mustard button, Linen Thread, Always Artichoke seam binding, Circles #2 die, Perfect Pennants die, Petal Cone die, Big Shot.
Thank for stopping by!
