Scrappy Friday: Magic Kingdom

Welcome to another episode of Project 52. Progress to date: It's week 15, and 15 pages have been created. Haha, I'm on a roll!

I haven't been posting every page I make, just in case you are checking my counting. I plan to post ones that I'm really pleased with or ones with a special little trick I can share.

I spent a ton of time on these Disney-themed pages, but I am pretty happy with them. I easily spent greater than 6 hours on 3 pages - yikes! My daughter insisted on meeting all these characters at the Magic Kingdom, and this was the bulk of our day, but her smile could use some work!

Fun technique here - I used Summertime Splendor background, and also Vintage Overlays as well, to create shaded and patterned edges.

MDS Elements: Stamps: Simple Friendship, Petal Pizzazz, Vintage Overlays, Baroque Motifs, Cheep Talk, For All You Do; Papers: Summertime Splendor; Inks: Garden Green, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, Concord Crush, Certainly Celery.

This page gave me an excuse for a couple MDS downloads, and I am super happy with the Cupcake punch clouds, which I filled with Botanical Gazette paper to vintage them up. Fun!

MDS Elements: Stamps: Big Bold Birthday, Sweet Summer, Notes, Torn Edges; Papers: Botanical Gazette; Inks: Soft Suede, So Saffron, Riding Hood Red; Accessories: Cupcake punch.

Don't forget, in May, National Scrapbooking Month, Stampin' Up will be offering 30% off selected scrapbooking products, including selected professional print products for My Digital Studio.
So get those MDS photo books designed, completed, and ready to print in May!

Thanks for stopping by!

I am amazed at how you took regular paper and punches and made pages I didn't recognize as ours! How very cool! Love those clouds! Love the fancy paper and how you changed into a more fun look on the Pixie page! Sorry her smile didnt' shine through, but I am sure she will have great memories.
